Registration for mentors and mentees for the September 2024 to January 2025 term will open in August 2024.

Join our New and Improved Mentorship Program

Our mentorship program aims to help early career chiropractors develop important skills and gives established chiropractors the opportunity to shape the profession’s next generation. The program matches a mentor with a small group of mentees, with similar career paths and goals. It runs for two five-month terms each membership year.

How the New Mentorship Program Works

Each mentee will be part of a small group of colleagues assigned to a mentor with similar criteria to them, such as areas of practice and career goals. During the five-month term, each mentor will virtually meet with their mentee group monthly for one to two-hour sessions where they’ll discuss experiences, growth opportunities and next steps based on the program curriculum.
Registration for mentors and mentees for the September 2024 to January 2025 term will open in August 2024.

Potentially Earn CE Credits

Through our mentorship program, OCA members like you will potentially be able to earn Continuing Education (CE) credits, pending approval from CCO. We are currently pursuing this status and will update you in the near future.
For more details on how to earn CE credits, please see the CCO Handbook.

To Learn More and Register as Mentor or Mentee:

For the OCA Mentorship program to succeed, it’s essential that we all respect the confidentiality of the mentee/mentor relationship.
Using or sharing personal/confidential information outside of the Mentorship Program is strictly prohibited. If there is any breach of confidentiality, the person responsible will be discharged from the mentorship program. Depending on the nature of the breach, more severe consequences may also be applied.

In no event shall the OCA be liable to either the Mentor or the Mentee or any other person, for any direct, indirect, consequential special, incidental reliance, punitive or any other damages or for any lost profits or loss of data or any other commercial or economic loss of any kind, even if advised of the possibility thereof or for any claim against the Mentor or Mentee or by any other party.
* Under no circumstances should either party engage in any dialogue or conduct that causes psychological, emotional, physical and/or financial harm to the other party.
