As a student, you’re just starting your journey to become a chiropractor. We want you to enjoy and experience everything we can offer you as your association. This is why we offer complimentary memberships to students currently attending a chiropractic college.

How Can Early Career Chiropractors Access their OCA Membership?

Entering the chiropractic profession is an exciting time of your life. At OCA, we want to help you through your professional journey.
That’s why we offer early career chiropractors in their first year as licensed chiropractors the opportunity to volunteer with the OCA, instead of paying for their membership.
As an early career chiropractor, you have an optional way to access your OCA membership benefits, without paying a fee. Recent graduates in their first year as licensed chiropractors may volunteer with the OCA through our Early Career Volunteer Membership program, instead of paying for their membership.
When you register for your OCA membership, you’ll be asked to choose between a paid or volunteer membership. If you choose the volunteer membership, we’ll contact you within a month for you to select your top picks from a range of available volunteer opportunities.

OCA Student and Early Career Advisory Council

Our Student and Early Career Advisory Council was formed to ensure that all voices are included as we go forward in advancing the chiropractic profession. The Council is composed of chiropractic students and recent graduates from Canada and the USA, who practise or plan to practise in Ontario.
The Council gives us valuable insight in providing the education and support needed to build a path to success, as students and early career chiropractors prepare for the transition into professional practice.
