Advocacy
• Continued to advocate for expanded scope, protecting animal chiropractic care and changes to auto insurance by meeting with cabinet ministers, government officials and providing submissions and presentations.
• External campaign on expanding scope – “Chiropractors Can Help” – over 160K social media views, 1,300 webpage visits and over 100 letters to MPPs.
• Advocated to preserve the full scope of animal chiropractic care under Ontario’s new law and engaged extensively with government and College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO) during consultations on new regulations.

• Raised the profile of the chiropractic profession with over 300K social media views with a variety of digital marketing campaigns and patient education resources for members.

Staying Connected with Members
• Launched OCA InTouch new bulletin with member input, with average open rate of 70% to date.
• Held focus groups with early career chiropractors for feedback on communications and marketing efforts.
Continuing Education
• +4,000 attendees – thank you for taking part in +40 webinars.
• +300 attendees at first ever joint webinar with the University Health Network (UHN) on traumatic brain injury.
Aspire
• Aspire expands with +4M patient visits and 2,500 clinicians using innovative software – producing data insights for evidence-based research and advocacy.
Health2Work
• Health2Work expands from Cambridge to Waterloo region to help more Ontario Works (OW) clients or a non-disabled family member on Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) access chiropractic care to support their return to work and training.
• Extensive local media coverage of expansion in Cambridge Today and Waterloo Region Record.
Student Engagement
• Engaged with hundreds of students at CMCC Students’ Council Gala, Practice Opportunity ’25, and Beyond the Finish Line Student Social events.
Member Recognition
• Hosted OCA’s 2024 Member Recognition Day with 130 members attending for CE, AGM and a fireside chat with Wendel Clark and Kaleb Dahlgren (CMCC class of ’24), followed by recognition of the best in the profession.
PMP Sunsets
• OCA’s Practice Management Software (PMP) is signing off. It’s helped support many member practices for more than 30 years and has been a market-leader with over 50% of OCA users choosing PMP. In its place, we welcome Aspire, a next-generation, profession-built platform for the future of chiropractic care.
