OCA 2025 Year In Review

As we reflect on the past year, we are proud to share our highlights of achievements that demonstrate the value of our work in strengthening and advocating for the chiropractic profession. These successes represent just some of the impactful work our organization has accomplished in support of our mission to serve our members and the public by advancing the understanding and use of chiropractic care.
      • Utilization rate: 27% with over 3.5 million Ontarians who relied on chiropractic care.
      • Total extended health care benefits to Ontario chiropractors increased.
      • Close to 700 affiliations with Ontario chiropractors in primary and secondary care settings.
      • Amplified advocacy for scope expansion during government consultations.
      • Over 1,100 letters sent to MPPs in OCA expansion campaign.
      • Strategic leader in Ontario: 53-page submission on proposed scope changes.
      • IPSOS poll: 97% of patients supported scope expansion.
      • Advocated for animal chiropractors to protect provision of chiropractic care.
      • Monitored the governments implementation progress on auto insurance reform.
      • Progress included removing extended health care benefits as the first payor as of July 2026.
      • 1.2 million social media views of patient stories and education in 2025.
      • Aspire is the second largest chiropractic software in Ontario with a growing presence across Canada.
      • Over 2,500 Aspire users and more than four million patient visits.
      • Created Aspire Strategic Data Advisory Council to advance use of data for patient care.
      • Championed the Evidence-Based Chiropractic Care (EBCC) initiative.
      • Seven papers published in the Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association (JCCA) the to advance evidence-based practice.
      • Chiro Cart was created to give members access to substantial savings on products and services.
      • Launched Dialogue: a Member Assistance Program (MAP) to help members and their families.
      • Enriched Academy:  Members have access to $1,000 worth of financial literacy tools and coaching.
      • OCA Advance: 4,000+ attendees over 40 CE webinars.
      • Mentorship program: New members network and learn from mentors.
      • Developed the Career Transition Council for members preparing for the next stage in their careers.
