Journey to becoming a chiropractor

As a competitive gymnast, I sustained a knee injury and was told by numerous health care professionals that my only option was to stop training in order to recover. My coach suggested I see a chiropractor (who had been a former gymnast herself) and she was able to understand the demands of my sport, provide me specific training recommendations, rehabilitation exercises, and manual treatment to help me work through the recovery and return to competition.

I so appreciated her ability to recognize how important my sport was to me, and she helped me understand the anatomy and biomechanics of my injury. I was inspired to pursue a career in chiropractic to help people as she had helped me.

Region of practice

I practise at Village Chiropractic in Orangeville.
