Brief Description:
The purpose of GLA:D Back is to help patients better manage persistent and/or recurrent low back pain themselves through a well-described and structured treatment program. The patient program includes structured patient education sessions and supervised exercise sessions over 7 weeks, a pre- and post-program assessment, and data registration. These components are recommended as first-line interventions in several international guidelines based on expert reviews of hundreds of randomized controlled trials (see Research and Annual Reports for more). Data from the program is entered in a secure clinical registry so that together, we create new knowledge about chronic low back pain and GLA:D Back can be continuously improved. Read more at the GLA:D Back website. Registration is open until March 5.
