This seminar will introduce chiropractors to the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in order to facilitate better treatment outcomes among patients with mental and behavioural barriers to recovery. Learn how to effectively apply CBT in the chiropractic office, how to decide when to refer patients to mental health practitioners and how to make those referrals. All participants will receive a copy of Dr. Christine Padesky’s best-selling book, Mind Over Mood.

This presentation will be followed by a book signing for Mind Over Mood.

Christine A. Padesky, Ph.D. is Co-Founder of the Center for Cognitive Therapy in Huntington Beach, California. Her best-selling book, Mind Over Mood has been translated into 23 languages with a million copies in print world-wide. Dr. Padesky is a graduate of Yale University and UCLA, a recipient of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy’s Most Influential International CBT Therapist award, the California Psychological Association’s Distinguished Contribution to Psychology award, and the Academy of Cognitive Therapy’s Aaron T. Beck Award for her enduring contributions to the field.
