Kent Chiro-Med Wellness Clinic is providing a rare and excellent career opportunity for an existing chiropractor or new graduate. One of our chiropractors is leaving out-of-province and we’re looking for a talented chiropractor with a passion for chiropractic to take over! You’ll get an amazing opportunity to advance in your career very fast! Our multi-disciplinary healthcare center with 7 health care practitioners continues to grow and requires a chiropractor to meet this demand. We are located in centretown Ottawa, 15 minutes away from Lyon station by foot and 1 minute away from the 14 Tunney’s Pasture/St Laurent Bus Bus Stop. The access to 417 highway is just a few minutes away from our facility. Our facility is within a beautiful professional building with ample parking on the streets, free parking in the back of our facility and wheelchair access.

 

The successful candidate will receive new patients, a large existing overflow of chiropractic patients, and be expected to grow the practice through inter-office collaboration and community networking. The successful candidate will also be an individual who has a warm personality, is an excellent communicator and can work well with other team members.

The following technical proficiencies/skills are required:

 

• Diversified adjusting technique
• Versed/experienced in spinal, muscles, joints and biomechanics assessment
• Must speak An ability to speak in French/other languages is certainly an asset

 

• Must respect and honor our clinic’s mission and vision
• Must provide a satisfactory level of soft tissue therapy (ie. Graston, cupping, myofascial release, trigger point therapy) as part of every patient’s care, beside providing spinal It’s what sets our clinic apart and what our patients also enjoy!
• Soft tissue certification in Graston Technique or ART is an asset
• We will prioritize those who have an acupuncture certification as this is a wonderful asset for us
• Must have excellent sense of time management, be punctual and attend once-a-month team boosting meeting to go over our monthly goals
• Must have good standing with CCO and CCPA liability coverage

1. A hard-working administrative team will be working for you and your patients: Full-time reception and administration services during regular office This includes booking appointments, answering phone calls and emails, collection of treatment fees, appointment confirmations, and billing third parties such as WSIB and MVA/HCAI (HCAI Facility Fee included – FSCO Licensed).
2. A variety of exciting modalities at your disposition to accommodate every patient: Access to a variety of treatment modalities including IFC, Ultrasound, Graston Instruments, two Shockwave Therapy machines, Spinal Decompression Therapy (Triton), Gun Massagers, Cupping, Acupuncture, Electroacupuncture, Dry needling, Custom Orthotics (foot impression and computerized methods both provided), Flexion Distraction Tables, Exercise equipments, and other health products such as (Custom Braces, Compression socks, Gun massager, Cervical traction, heat/ice pads, lacrosse balls, foam rollers, home-use TENS units and more)
3. Spacious fully furnished treatment rooms with chiropractic tables, desk, chairs, and storage
4. All clinic advertising, including website profile and social media
5. Debit/Credit Card machine and associated
6. Clinic supplies and forms. We work with ClinicMaster
7. Client/Patient Demographics include: Athletes, Private Practice payors (i.e., Extended Health Insurance, Cash), WSIB, MVA, Sports Injury Treatment, Varied General practice population (i.e., White/Blue collar, Family, Skilled Trades, Tech, Agricultural).
8. You will become a respected member of a multidisciplinary team
