Role: Chiropractor

Location: Bruce County  (Walkerton ON)

Role Overview: 

The WOMB is looking for a Chiropractor to join our team! The ideal candidate will be warm, nurturing and client focused with a strong passion for all things pregnancy and babies. Must be experienced with pregnancy, infants, and children. 

Responsibilities:

  • Refer clients to other WOMB practitioners when applicable in order to provide whole person care
  • Focus on nurturing and connecting with innate intelligence inside of the individual
  • Serve, love, teach and inspire families through chiropractic care to find their optimal expression of health and vitality 
  • Treatment for adults, children and infants
  • Use neuromusculoskeletal expertise to treat a wide range of symptoms
  • Approach healing from a holistic and naturopathic point of view
  • Manually adjust a clients spine, hips, knees and other joints
  • Send client for diagnostic testing such as x-rays, if needed
  • Recommend lifestyle changes and diet as part of a more comprehensive treatment regimen

Qualifications:

  • Registered and within good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO)
  • ICPA and/or Websters technique certification an asset 
  • A positive, professional and flexible attitude
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • First Aid/CPR an asset

Communication:

Clients are encouraged to email us back for clarification on any aspect of their care. The WOMB encourages team collaboration and provides mentorship in person, through email and through a private Facebook group. There are quarterly team meetings where practitioners share, provide education, and participate in grand rounds. Communication between therapists is encouraged. Chiropractors are part of a team – collaborating on whole health care for their clients.
