Help patients suffering from spinal stenosis restore mobility and maintain independence!
Degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis (DLSS) is a leading cause of pain, disability and loss of independence in patients over the age of 65. As a result of DLSS, the elderly tend to lead a sedentary lifestyle which negatively affects their quality of life and life expectancy. In the next 15 years, there will be an explosion in the number of people suffering from DLSS due to the aging population.
The Boot Camp Program for Spinal Stenosis© is an evidenced-based, non-surgical approach developed at Mount Sinai Hospital by Dr. Carlo Ammendolia. Impressive program results have been instrumental in securing the funding of two randomized clinical trials at the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Toronto. Chiropractors should be the experts and go-to professionals for the non-surgical management of DLSS.
Upon completion of this 6.5 hour certification, learners will be able to:
· Educate patients on DLSS which will result in better self-management of the condition
· Understand current research findings on DLSS
· Implement a new step by step technique to treat patients with DLSS on Monday morning
· Acquire the knowledge and skills to become an expert in the non-surgical management of DLSS
Workshop attendees will receive 6.5 CE structured credit hours. Participants who complete the workshop will be listed on www.spinemobility.com the official website for The Boot Camp Programs. Seats are limited, so register early!
“I recently attended a Spinal Stenosis Bootcamp presented by Dr. Carlo Ammendolia. I found it to be a very informative, practical and pragmatic workshop dealing with patients with this very challenging disorder. Dr. Ammendolia has taken over 32 years of practice experience combined with specific research and clinical trials to give a hands-on approach that makes sense and more importantly that works….and it is supported by sound evidence. He has packaged the approach in a systematic and organized manner that can be integrated into any chiropractic office. I would highly recommend this workshop to any clinician who wants to be able offer hope to patients with spinal stenosis, many of whom who have failed all other approaches.” – Jeff Balon BSc., DC, MD, CCFP
“Dr. Ammendolia’s Spinal Stenosis Boot Camp is a complete, effective and practical program that I have been using to help my patient’s suffering from stenosis.” – Dr. Bryan Wolfe, Palmer College of Chiropractic, 1985
