Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractor and Acupuncture Provider to join our healthcare team in an established clinic at Yonge/Eglinton. This role involves delivering comprehensive chiropractic care and acupuncture treatments to patients, aiming to improve their overall well-being, alleviate pain, and promote healing. The ideal candidate will possess strong patient care skills, a solid understanding of medical terminology, and experience in pain management. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on holistic health and patient-centered care. Remuneration is a percentage of billings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine treatment needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Administer chiropractic adjustments and therapies to address musculoskeletal issues.
  • Provide acupuncture treatments tailored to individual patient conditions, ensuring safety and efficacy.
  • Educate patients on pain management techniques, lifestyle modifications, and preventive health strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay current with advancements in chiropractic practices and acupuncture techniques through ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Valid license as a Chiropractor and certification in Acupuncture from an accredited program.
  • Experience in patient care, with a focus on pain management and injury rehab an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to chiropractic and acupuncture treatments.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and support patients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Compassionate approach with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Prior experience in pain management is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed.

  • Availability to work saturdays an asset, plus another day during the week.
