ABOUT NEW HAMBURG WELLNESS CENTRE:
Established in 2003, the New Hamburg Wellness Centre is a Practitioner owned multi-disciplinary clinic located just 10 minutes west of Kitchener-Waterloo in a thriving community. Our busy practice consists of Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Registered Massage Therapists, Naturopathic Doctors, Mental Health Counsellors, and Foot Care Nurses. Our facility is within a modern professional building with ample parking and wheelchair access.
Our centre has over 23 years of community presence and has received multiple awards for Favourite Chiropractic Clinic, Favourite Massage Therapy Clinic, and Favourite Alternative Medicine Clinic in the Readers’ Choice Awards.
CAREER OPPORTUNITY:
Our clinic is looking for a Chiropractor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will receive new patients, a large existing overflow of chiropractic patients, and will have the opportunity to collaborate and work alongside a multi-disciplinary team to provide the best and most comprehensive health care for the community and patients we serve. The successful candidate will also be an individual who is an excellent communicator and can work well with other team members.
The following technical proficiencies/skills are desired:
- Diversified adjusting technique
- Wellness along with evidence-based philosophy to practice
- Versed/experienced in spinal assessment, rehabilitation protocols and exercise prescription (i.e., McGill methods, McKenzie)
- Versed/experienced in non-spinal, upper and lower extremity neuro-musculoskeletal assessment, rehabilitation protocols and exercise prescription
- Soft tissue certification/experience in Graston Technique or ART is an asset

- Access to online booking and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) through JANE.
- Debit/Credit Card machine and associated fees. Office supplies and forms.
- Spacious fully furnished rooms with chiropractic tables, chairs, desk and storage space.
- Access to a variety of treatment modalities including Class-4 Laser, IFC, TENS, Graston Instruments.
- All clinic advertising, including social media and website profile.
- Working with a varied and diverse general practice population (i.e., White/Blue collar, Professionals, Skilled Trades, Tech, Agricultural, Students, Retirees, Athletes, Weekend Warriors). Client/Patient Demographics include: Private Practice payors (i.e., Extended Health Insurance, Cash), WSIB, MVA.
- Learning and mentorship from our knowledgeable clinical health care team with well over 250 years of combined experience.
- Immediate patient base waiting for you, including regular intra-office referrals and new patient traffic.
