Optimal Health Physiotherapy is a well-established physiotherapist owned clinic located in downtown Peterborough. We are looking for a chiropractor to join our team and provide chiropractic expertise to our active motivated clientele. We book 60 minute assessments and 15 or 30 minute follow up treatments, and all treatments take place in private rooms. We offer manual therapy, shockwave, dry needling, acupuncture and massage and athletic therapy. Our building also houses counselling services.

Job Summary/Responsibilities:

As a full-time chiropractor, you will be responsible for providing chiropractic services including assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, executing treatment and implementing home programs. You will also keep accurate up-to-date records in our EMR, Jane app.  You will, at times, communicate with other members of the health care team to advocate for your clients.

Qualifications:

• Member in good standing with a current active license with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with exercise prescription and return to sport is an asset
• Practice according to current best practices and continually learn to keep up with new evidence.
