In this 3-day extensive workshop, you will learn to provide pre-hospital care and enhanced CPR skills. You will acquire advanced techniques for treating injuries and illnesses as well as CPR level HCP and AED training. The course is tailored towards clinical and sport-related settings. You will have scenarios for testing tailored to your sport or clinical interest. You will receive a Certificate of Completion from Canadian Red Cross and the Emergency Care Manual. You will also receive 30 structured CE credit hours.

Learning Objectives
At the end of the course, you will:
· Complete a standardized written exam to meet national Canadian Red Cross standards
· Complete a practical scenario to meet Canadian Red Cross standards
· Be able to provide CPR level HCP in response to breathing and circulatory emergencies
· Be able to operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
· Be able to use oxygen and oxygen related devices
· Be able to respond to emergencies that occur in the office and in the sport field
· Be able to apply a cervical collar and secure a person to a spinal board

Dr. Theresa Lisk is a CMCC graduate and owner and operator of Dr. Theresa’s Health Institute in Courtice, ON. She has been a certified CPR, First Aid, and First Responder Instructor for the past eight years, teaching these lifesaving techniques to chiropractors and chiropractic students throughout Ontario. Certified in Thompson, Activator and Diversified Techniques, Dr. Lisk ensures that her lifesaving courses include specific situations that all chiropractors will encounter in their offices.
