SUMMARY:GLA:D™ Canada Remote Certification Course
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, Nov 21 – Sunday\, Nov 22\, 2026\nDescription:\n \nGLA:D™ Canada Leadership team and certified GLA:D™ Canada trainers (a researcher in the field of osteoarthritis and a highly experienced practicing physiotherapist) will be instructing this 1.5-day course. The course is designed to prepare you to deliver the GLA:D™ education and exercise program to your clients. Day 1 includes lectures and practical training on delivering the neuromuscular exercises. Day 2 provides additional lectures and covers implementation requirements. \nGLA:D™ Canada is an 8-week education and exercise program for individuals with symptoms of or diagnosed with knee and/or hip osteoarthritis (OA). Developed in Denmark\, the program has shown to reduce pain symptom progression by 27%\, lower use of joint-related painkillers\, reduce sick leave\, and improve physical activity at 1-year after start of the program. The program consists of 3 parts: i) 2-3 education sessions\, ii) 12 exercise sessions involving tailored neuromuscular exercises\, and iii) a national database for quality monitoring (clinics have access to reports on its own participants’ data). \n\nRegister Online\n\n
