DESCRIPTION:We believe it is important for our members to have opportunities to connect directly with OCA leadership. This telephone town hall provides an update on how our advocacy efforts are progressing while providing some clarity on the current governmental health care landscape and our current approach within that context. \nDr. Ayla Azad (OCA President) and Dr. Bob Haig (OCA CEO) updated members on our advocacy with the government on three main issues: a) reinstatement of hospital ordering rights\, and b) ordering authority for advanced imaging and c) ordering authority for laboratory tests. \nDrs.
