Our clinic is looking for a chiropractor to cover a maternity leave for the clinic owner from August 1 – December 1st 2023 at Lake of the Woods Chiropractic & Wellness located in Kenora, ON (30 minutes from the Manitoba border).

Currently the clinic has two chiropractors plus an intern and two massage with full-time front desk coverage.

During the locum period there will be one full-time well-established associate and new graduate. The chiropractor to be covered typically sees 30-35 patients per day with a waitlist of 20-30 per day on their schedule. The locum will have the option to choose how many patients they would like to see in a day/what they are comfortable with. Treatment style is diversified, muscle release therapy, trigger points, and rehab exercises. Acupuncture, laser, and shockwave as needed (a big portion of patient base come for combination acupuncture plus adjustment). Dr. Bauer typically spends 15 minutes with follow up patients and 30 minutes with combination acupuncture plus chiro patients – however she double books during acupuncture between two rooms. New patients typically 45 minutes unless more complicated such as MVA or concussion initial.

• Clinic is open Monday – Friday.
• Acupuncture and concussion training is considered an asset but not required.
• Local accommodations will be arranged during the locum period and the clinic will cover 50% of the cost – possibly more contact to discuss.
• Happy to take this person on as an associate afterwards if interested – the demand is there based on our strong networking built within the community over the last 5 years.
