Research and Academic Award 

The award recognizes a chiropractor or researcher currently engaged in research or academia contributing to expanding the knowledge of the profession.

Criteria

In addition to the eligibility requirements for all awards, the nominee will have made a significant contribution to the profession in three or more of the following areas:  

Chiropractic Knowledge: Increasing knowledge of the profession through involvement in chiropractic research 

Chiropractic EducationEnsuring success for future chiropractic graduates through excellence in chiropractic education  

Chiropractic Understanding: Exploring new areas of research and/or unique opportunities to expand the breadth of chiropractic understanding 

Professional Expertise: Acting as a role model and being recognized as a resource regarding the research  

Knowledge Translation: Contributing to knowledge translation activities to share findings and support improvement in patient care 

Interprofessional Advancement: Advancing the profession through involvement in interprofessional education or research
